Washington Wine Education Foundation

Our state's wine industry has become an important part of the state economy, contributing more than $3 billion annually and providing nearly 15,000 direct and indirect jobs and wages of $579 million. With more than 650 wineries and more than 40,000 acres in wine grape production, Washington is the second largest wine producer in the nation.

The Washington Wine Education Foundation aims to support the growth of a world class enology and viticulture program through the support of education, training and research. Currently, the Foundation is committed to fulfilling the funding for the Endowed Chair of Viticulture and Enology at Washington State University.
